Spring Time in Jasper

A couple of weeks ago my family and I took our annual  spring trip to Jasper. I am always amazed at what we find as it is never the same. Spring time in the mountain parks are not the same as other areas of the province. The higher altitudes allow for a wide variety of experiences. For example in town there was brown grass; at Athabasca Falls there was a combination of snow, ice and flowing water and the list goes on.
We find contrasts all the time. What amazes me is in the spring time the contrast pop out at you and one can not help but to notice them. To add to the fun Jasper actually has an extended ski season due to the extra snow they received this year; so when we return to Jasper in a couple of months who know what we will find. I hope that you enjoy some of the treasures that we found this year.
