Recently my daughter helped celebrate Norway's Independence Day. This national holiday to Norway is traditionally held on May 17th. In Canada the Norwegian community try and celebrate it on as close as possible to that day. Children are a focal point of this Norwegian holiday so the Valhalla Junior Scandinavian dancers are invited to perform annually. This year the adult Valhalla dancers also joined with a great performance. It was a great evening to take in. Please enjoy some of the memories of this event.
